Thailand will hold International Lighting Exhibition ??Opens up the energy-saving pilot project

  The first Thailand International Lighting Fair will be held at Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center during August 19 to 21, 2015. The host, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand and Messe Frankfurt, Germany recently held a press conference in Shanghai, invited the Chinese enterprises to enter the exhibition, to display their wide range of innovative products and technology to Thailand and other ASEAN Economic Community countries.

   According to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, 80% of the lighting products in Thailand rely on import , the government strongly supported the choice of energy-saving products in recent years, Thailand's huge market potential and the increasingly strong purchasing power will bring opportunities for Chinese enterprises.

   The first Thailand International Lighting Exhibition is expected to brought together 250 exhibitors, comprehensively display lighting, energy efficient lighting equipment, LED materials, controllers, replacement lamps, LED related accessories, lighting equipment and other products, and renewable energy and solar architecture, intelligent lighting building solutions, it is expected to attract more than 5000 professional visitors from industrial areas, factories, government agencies, commercial buildings, project procurement, hotels, apartments, universities, temples and religious sites.

   According to the reports, with the  promotion of energy-efficient lighting from the Thai government and sharp decline of the price of LED lighting, the demand of LED lighting is increasing. According to statistics, in 2014 the Thai lighting market valued at $ 800 million, an increase of 12% compared to 2013. In the near future, the total value of Thailand's lighting market will be under the local government and the private sector to promote growth to 900 million to 1 billion U.S. dollars. It is expected in the next five years, the annual growth rate will reach at 30 percent, interior lighting and industrial construction become two important part of the LED lighting market in Thailand.
